120 days and 18.000 km following the ancient Silk Road. Full of breathtaking landscapes, welcoming people and old traditions. Crossing China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Caspian sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
The buzzling markets, the endless green steppes where Genghis Khan once roamed, the feared Taklamakan dessert and the never ending great wall. The unparalleled beauty of the Madrassas of Uzbekistan and the simplicity of life in the yurts of Mongolia. The Tibetan monks of Xiahe and the muslim priests of Kyrgyzstan.
This kaleidoscope of images still anchored on the most important route of trade in history, both of goods and ideas, slowly melts together and you can see the gradual changes in traditions, landscapes and even people´s faces as we slowly move overland from the far corners of China to the edge of Europe, finishing our Silk Road adventure in Istanbul.
