Dubrovnik and Time
Spomenka Saraga, Hervé Tirmarché
The theme of the film “Dubrovnik and Time” is the passage of time (fast, slow, natural). We perceive time, and especially we remember it in a different way depending on experiences we live.
Dubrovnik never stops. So it's never the same. Nor maintains a uniform speed, and so provokes emotion: awe of children, the attraction between two young people, the intimacy of a dinner next to the sea. It just seems still when we look at it from the air. But we now know that its inside never stops beating.
